Angelique Grant

Angelique Grant, Ph.D., (she|her) Senior Consultant + Principal, is a seasoned industry leader with more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. As a Senior Consultant, she provides services across North America on inclusive philanthropic practices, fundraising campaigns, organizational development, and nonprofit strategies. Throughout her career, Dr. Grant has successfully led teams and served in leadership capacities to achieve fundraising goals in multiple billion- and million-dollar campaigns.  She previously served as VP and Senior Consultant at Aspen Leadership Group, Assistant Vice President of Development & Alumni Relations, and Assistant Dean of Medical Advancement, Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University. Her extensive experience in higher education advancement has also included roles at Princeton University, Washington State University, and the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. This Fulbright scholar is a certified unconscious bias trainer and certified diversity recruiter, has been an active speaker for countless industry associations over the years, and has chaired, presented, and served as faculty for several notable conferences. Dr. Grant compiled, as co-author, her expertise into the first comprehensive book on inclusivity entitled: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Advancement: A Guide to Strengthening Engagement and Fundraising Through Inclusion (CASE 2020). It serves as a practical guidebook for nonprofit teams seeking to move from awareness to actionable and sustained behavioral change, especially in the fundraising industry.
