Administrative Coordinator
Makayla Thomas has a background in public health, specifically in program development, community health, and outreach in vulnerable and underserved communities. As a native of South Florida, she is committed to making Florida a safer, more accessible, and livable place for the LGBTQ+ community and BIPOC populations. To achieve this goal, she is researching the disparities that affect these communities and volunteering with local non-profits to find the best ways to address these issues. In her free time, Makayla enjoys baking, writing, and crocheting.
