Obed Caballero’s background is from the HIV prevention field, with skills in community outreach, counseling, public speaking, and interpersonal communication. As a South Florida native, his dedication to the LGBTQ+ community and the various causes and issues that affect it lead him to volunteering with local agencies, and then working directly in the non-profit world, focusing on providing education and resources to youth of color. He also brings an artistic design flare to Our Fund, with his talents and background in graphic design and illustration. Obed is also a proud “gaymer”, having started a monthly Gaymer Night for LGBTQ+ people and allies to have a safe space to enjoy their hobby and be themselves.
