WILTON MANORS, FL – The Our Fund Foundation, the third largest LGBTQ+ foundation in the nation, announced the promotion of Ted Vasquez to Chief Financial Officer and the hiring of Paul Abad as Philanthropy and Planned Giving Officer.

Vasquez, who has served as the nonprofit’s Finance Director for the past three years, succeeds Mark Blaylock, who is stepping down after a decade of dedicated service at CFO. In his new role, Vasquez will oversee the foundation’s annual budget and grantmaking cycles, while continuing to manage the organization’s complex daily financial operations. In 2024, Our Fund granted nearly $4.9 million to LGBTQ-supportive agencies in Broward and Miami-Dade counties. With an asset base of $25 million, Our Fund is poised for exponential growth.

In the newly created position of a Philanthropy and Planned Giving Officer, Abad will combine his financial expertise with his passion for community building to strengthen Our Fund’s Legacy Society and cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors. Abad brings extensive experience as an accomplished sales manager and business development leader, most recently serving as Vice President and Business Development Manager for Bank OZK. A dedicated nonprofit leader and community advocate, he has served on the boards of the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, the Jewish Federation of Broward County’s Young Leadership Division, and the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

“Ted is an invaluable leader whose financial acumen and commitment to our mission will ensure Our Fund continues to deliver a strong philanthropic response at this critical time for South Florida’s LGBTQ community,” said David Jobin, president & CEO of The Our Fund Foundation. “Paul’s proven record in fundraising, DEI advocacy, and nonprofit leadership makes him exceptionally well-suited to engage donors and expand our long-term impact.”
