WILTON MANORS, Fla. (June 3, 2026) — As it celebrates 15 years of advancing LGBTQ philanthropy and equity, The Our Fund Foundation is launching Faces of Impact, a new video storytelling series designed to amplify the voices, missions and community impact of 24 LGBTQ-serving nonprofit organizations across South Florida.
The series supports the Foundation’s newly established Pillars Fund, a long-term investment initiative created to strengthen and sustain South Florida’s most essential LGBTQ-serving agencies through multi-year operational support. Through professionally produced video profiles, Faces of Impact will shine a spotlight on the people behind the missions, the lives transformed through their work and the urgent issues impacting LGBTQ communities today.
As part of the initiative, The Our Fund Foundation invested in the production of two customized video assets for each participating nonprofit — one created for the Foundation’s Faces of Impact campaign and another tailored specifically for the organization’s own outreach, fundraising and marketing efforts. The investment is designed to help agencies strengthen donor engagement, increase visibility and better tell their stories year-round.
The initiative comes at a critical moment for LGBTQ nonprofits nationwide as organizations face increasing political attacks, growing public funding restrictions and rising demand for affirming services.
“Many LGBTQ nonprofits are doing extraordinary, life-changing work with limited visibility and resources,” said David Jobin. “Faces of Impact allows our community to see the real people, real stories and real impact behind these organizations while also equipping agencies with professional storytelling tools they can continue using long after the campaign ends. Storytelling is advocacy, and visibility matters now more than ever.”
The featured organizations represent a broad cross-section of South Florida’s LGBTQ community and address issues including mental health, HIV prevention and care, youth homelessness, transgender advocacy, aging services, arts and culture, healthcare access, legal equality and community wellness.
The Pillars Fund was developed to reduce the administrative burden of annual grant cycles for qualifying agencies, allowing nonprofit leaders to focus more fully on mission delivery and community care. Participating organizations were selected based on demonstrated leadership, measurable community impact, financial stewardship and alignment with the Foundation’s vision of making South Florida the most thriving and inclusive place in the country for LGBTQ people.
Beyond fundraising and awareness, the Faces of Impact series seeks to address persistent representation gaps in mainstream media coverage of LGBTQ issues — particularly stories centered on local service organizations, vulnerable populations and community-led solutions.
Beyond raising awareness, the initiative reflects a broader investment in nonprofit capacity building at a time when many LGBTQ agencies face increasing competition for funding, limited marketing resources and heightened political scrutiny. By providing professionally produced video content, The Our Fund Foundation aims to help organizations strengthen community engagement and communicate their impact more effectively to donors, volunteers and stakeholders.
Each video will offer an intimate look at the challenges facing LGBTQ South Floridians while highlighting the resilience, innovation and compassion driving meaningful change throughout the region.
“South Florida has one of the most vibrant and diverse LGBTQ communities in the country, yet many people are unaware of the organizations working every day to support our neighbors, families and future generations,” Jobin added. “These stories deserve to be seen, heard and supported.”
The launch of Faces of Impact also aligns with broader conversations happening nationally around nonprofit sustainability, LGBTQ rights protections and the impact of government funding reductions affecting marginalized communities.
In addition to the new storytelling initiative, The Our Fund Foundation recently announced plans to increase its annual endowed asset distribution from 5% to 6% in response to growing federal and state funding cutbacks impacting LGBTQ-serving agencies — a move expected to generate an additional $100,000 in grant funding this fiscal year.
New Faces of Impact videos will debut throughout the year across digital and social media platforms, helping connect donors, allies and community members directly to the missions and people shaping LGBTQ life in South Florida.
