WILTON MANORS (February 5, 2025) – R. Mark Blaylock, The Our Fund Foundation’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), was honored by the South Florida Business Journal during the 2025 CFO Awards, held in the Sport of Kings Theater at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach on January 30.
More than 200 guests attended the prestigious awards program, which recognized winning companies’ CFOs for their exemplary leadership, financial acumen, and the key role they play in the stewardship of organizations’ bottom lines.
During the ceremony, Blaylock was named the top CFO in the Nonprofit category. Among his many accomplishments was increasing the number of Our Fund’s Legacy Society members. Over the past two years, he secured more than $60 million in planned Legacy Gifts, increasing the foundation’s estimated total legacy gifts to over $200 million.

“Receiving this prestigious recognition is a tremendous honor, and I am proud to work for an organization that has a positive impact on South Florida’s LGBTQ community every day,” said Blaylock. “I am also grateful to Our Fund’s many supporters who understand that philanthropy is vital both now and for the long-term success of non-profits serving the LGBTQ community.”
Nominations for the program, now in its 18th year, were reviewed by an SFBJ advisory board and the editorial team to select a winner and two finalists in each category: privately held (by revenue), publicly traded, nonprofit, and public service/government.
